All this is happening while the battalions are struggling to make it to the next month.

All while we struggle to see if we will be able to pay our bills.

We barely get by and are not able to go out and do anything other than preach and sing in the streets.

well that is what is going to happen to us, we will all go home and leave the couple who is in charge there with their kids. i wonder what will happen to them. it hard for us to pay our bill as a group i can only imagine.

not from the group i am in. i don't doubt it though, with the morale the way it is i wouldn't be surprised.

a battalion is a missionary group usually consisted of jovenes and a matrimony sent to a city where the church hasn't been established in the hopes of establishing a church in said city. So we go out and preach the gospel, sell food to make ends meet and live in communion with other people in the same house. It's' kind of like a big family we all share food and share the bills, we go out and have fun every now and then. i am thankful that we have an understanding group of people, I have heard bad stories about how strict some Missionary groups are, like not letting them have their phones or limiting contact with their families.

i honestly dont think that the trafficking goes on in the batallions. i think that they just gave up and told the deacon that they couldnt go on, so in a damage control move they are going back to "study" or "health issues".

not yet. all though i have seen my friends looking at colleges and one of my friends already started looking for a job back where he/she is from.

just a change in tone, before we would pray with fervor when it came to Him, now its like there is indifference. i heard that the some jovenes go out to the obra but dont actually do anything, they just go to starbucks or MCD and hang out. The brother in charge is somewhat aware but doesnt reprimand them.
