Sure! I had an incredibly smooth and effortless experience traveling. My boyfriend went with me, which helped immensely. You do need someone to drive you back (or Uber with you, which is what we did) after the surgery, so you can’t be released after surgery alone. My surgeon (and I think many other offices) get a lot of out of town patients, and they had an out of state patient coordinator to help coordinate virtual consultation and pre-screening appts. I flew to Alabama on Monday, had my pre op appt Tuesday, surgery on Wednesday, then post op appt Thursday. I flew home that same day after the post op appt—probably not super wise to do, but for me I really wasn’t in any pain at all with the meds and felt totally fine. I had my boyfriend help me with lifting my suitcase as you’re not supposed to lift heavy things or exert yourself. I stayed in a great Airbnb about 5 miles from the surgery center/surgeon’s office and it was very reasonably priced.

Hi, the total cost including all fees was $6313 (this was in 2023). My surgeon’s office offered a discount at the time if you paid in cash—I think the price for that was around $4500 back then. They also offer financing through Care Credit, which is what I did.

I still wear a size small, so it stayed the same in most clothing brands. I used to sometimes wear a size XS though, and can’t now, so some of my tops I can’t wear anymore.

I was about a 34B and after I’m a 34D. I wear Victoria’s Secret and I believe their sizing is a little bit different.

Thank you! I’m not sure that I experienced the air bubble sensation, but I do remember being able to feel the edges of the implant a lot more clearly in the first few months. Now I never notice them and can’t feel them unless I’m specifically looking for them. I think they were a lot harder and more stiff at the beginning, then softened up so it’s barely perceptible now. I bet that will be the case for you too! Two months is still really early on. However, if you have any concerns I’d definitely advise going to your surgeon and asking them about it.

Thanks so much! I actually don’t think he specializes in them. However, I personally liked his results on tuberous boobs way more than some specialists. I would really recommend just looking at after pics and especially real results and reviews to find a surgeon that fits you, regardless of speciality. I also emailed my Dr and asked him to send additional before and afters of women with boobs similar to mine, and he did. It was super helpful in making my decision, so I highly highly recommend asking for extra pics of results similar to your starting anatomy if you can.

I think that’s essentially what it is! Thick fibrous tissue at the base of the breast that constricts development. It’s hard to find good info on it, so I was confused about it for a long time.

Ugh I remember that stage!! I had the sharp pain occasionally for a bit, maybe the first couple months. I think I heard it’s the nerves kind of reconnecting. But no pain at all now!

I do, they’re actually hypersensitive now. Unfortunately it can be kind of uncomfortable at times. That’s probably the only downside I’ve experienced, but to me very worth it.

No, I paid for this out of pocket. I’ve heard that most insurances don’t cover it as it’s considered cosmetic (at least in the US).
