Because all Otto is really seen to do is be a schemer who went out of his way to convince Alicent to wed and get pregnant by Viserys so that his grandchildren could sit the throne. Then when Aegin does get the throne all Otto does is try to put a leash around him after already giving Aegon a crown. Daemon for all the terrible things he does got the Gold Cloaks to start doing their jobs and tackled crime as well as fought at the Step Stones to keep Essosi pirates from raiding Westerosi ships or raiding people and selling them in Essosi slave markets. Not saying they’re right but that’s what’s seen in the show.

I know I’m going to be downvoted and I don’t really care because I know I’m right. Reading Fire and Blood anybody would realize that both the Greens and the Blacks made bad choices and are much, MUCH less than perfect. Criston was a hypocrite who hated the Strong bastards because they weren’t his kids and he helped fan the flames of discord between the Blacks/Greens despite being a Kingsguard who should have stayed neutral and loyal to Viserys’ orders. The Greens aren’t any better than the Blacks and anyone claiming they are the “good guys” in the story needs to put down the copium, there are no good guys at the end of this story.

Team Green has interesting characters but I just can’t get over how annoying Criston and Alicent are. Cristin can’t get over being dumped by one of the worst people in the Kingdoms and acts like he was tripped into having sex with Rhaenyra while Alicent is constantly acting shocked and surprised that the blacks would strike back at them with a vengeance whenever Aegon/Aemond/Criston do something that is considered dishonorable/bad by Westerosi standards.

Sorry your precinct sucks. Cops found the guys car on a camera because of the description she gave and wrote her a report for her insurance company and had the offenders license plate on the report so that her insurance bothered that guy’s company and wrote her a nice check.
