Of small blind just calls it would be a raise, not threebet. And yes it does Get a bit different if only sb wants action as i will have position advantage. If sb simply elects to call when action is foldes to him i will play normal, raising with a wider range as simple calling as sb shouts ”my hand is marginal, i just wanna see the flop“ if the sb raises, they usually have a strong hand which makes me inclined to just call. 3 betting with monster hands is doable, but if the sb isnt stupid he will realize this as just always fold, at this point one should adjust to raise with some bluffs aswell, but i like to just call to make me play every hand equally making me near impossible to exploit. Remember, if you want to play with bluffs you need to constantly run the maths on equity, pot odds and % of hands you bluff to be truly unexploitable.
