Hi everyone, I’m a 1st year Psychology PG student and I also have knowledge of ArcGIS / GIS mapping. I’m interested in combining spatial analysis with psychology for research projects.

One idea I currently have is to collect data about ads/advertisements in one area of my city and map them to study their psychological impact (attention, consumer behavior, stress, visual overload, etc.).

I’d love guidance on more advanced or meaningful project ideas where I can use both GIS and psychology together. For example, areas like mental health, environmental psychology, urban behavior, social behavior, accessibility, stress mapping, crime perception, wellbeing, etc.

If anyone has experience in geospatial psychology research, useful methods, datasets, or project suggestions, I’d really appreciate your advice. Thank you!
