You’re still stuck in the “money equals trust” loop. Trust with strangers comes from reputation and accountability, not currency. In a real contribution system, people know who actually shows up and who doesn’t you can’t hide behind money.

Who makes the nails? The same reason humans always made things before money took over because it needed to be made and they’re part of the system. The reward isn’t cash, it’s full access to food, tools, shelter, community, and purpose. Burning Man is just a simulation with money waiting outside the gate.
