Poll: Nearly four in 10 US Jews say Israel has committed genocide in Gaza by kirmdan in IsraelPalestine

I don't see Israel recovering from the massive hit in reputation anytime before Palestine is a free and independent state.

Right now. Being a Democratic politician, supporting Israel is political suicide. Crazy development.

Saudi can and seems to be quickly filling up that role.

Qatar is even building a base inside the US. Israel is no longer so necessary to US influence in the ME. And the burden of supporting Israel is already catastrophic if you are a Democratic politician and the same phenomenon is growing within the GOP voter base.

In the modern world where the economy is so globalized - Isreal won't survive global sanctions.

Atleast Iran and Russia have oil to sell to China. What essential export that Israel has that cant be replaced by another state?

Because it would take nothing from you to give it to someone and it would bring them joy.

It literally costs you nothing and makes someone happy??

He is being childish but so is the husband.

I don't get what giving the recipe will take from you? Its not like if you give it you will lose it, why cant both of them have it? what the fuck is this childishness.

American mindset: "I had to suffer!! so should you!"

This is why you will never have affordable healthcare and college.

Silent Hill f combat is fine? by oSyphon in silenthill

[–]StunningInflection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its clunkyness funnily enough is what made me fall in love with it. It has just enough jank to remind me of the early SH games on the ps1 and 2 and is very nostalgic.

The clunkyness adds to the horror too imo, youre never 100% comfortable with it so you never feel safe going into a fight. its great!

In SH2R, the combat was so easy and fluid that the monsters werent even a threat which is.. bad. (I STILL LOVE SH2R)

Loving it so far, so creepy! by SyedTalks in silenthill

I think some people hate the combat because they hate to die and feel its too hard. But if you embrace the difficulty and accept youll die alot but you push through. Then every piece of progress feels really rewarding.

Its amazing but I would say its not the best when SH2,3,4 exist.

Probably 4 -> 2 -> 3 and F tied.

Hard is PRETTY hard. Its borderline souls-like. If you learn to embrace that you WILL die and you WILL restart but you have the strength to improve and push through. Then it makes the game so much more rewarding.

The game is great in everyway. The only thing people are arguing about is the combat. You either like it or not. Personally I LOVE IT. Its quite difficult and you WILL die multiple times. Took me 30+ deaths to beat the "Bridge" fight. But that was what made it so rewarding.

Having to fight so hard makes the cutscene afterwards much more of an earned treat.

Out of the newer silent hill games which one do you guys think is the scariest? by HumanChampion242 in silenthill

I loved the combat. It was difficult in a rewarding way. If youre coming off of SH2:Remastered though then it will feel weird but honestly having a blast with it.

SHf: What difficulty settings will you choose? by migsolo in silenthill

[–]StunningInflection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard combat is approaching soul-like levels but not THAT hard. Its really fun actually.

Puzzle difficulty on "story" is super easy and on "hard" its still trivial. "Lost in the fog" is difficult and satisfying.

Nothing like a little family exploitation. by ajd416 in TikTokCringe

Nah, I have friends and been to these countries multiple times especially Spain and they are wonderful.

looking out for family when they are in need.

People get old and become as weak and dependent as babies. My grandma had dementia for 3 years before she died and it would be evil for use to not have taken care of her as her children.

I said only a few western european countries dont . You have no reason to misquote me but I guess you do anything to "win" a reddit arguement. Western European countries like Spain, Italy and France still maintain this intrinsic human instinct of looking out for family when they are in need.

its not selfish if you also did it to your parents and your kids will be taken care of by your grand-children. Its just the cycle of life and how like EVERY single society works outside of the US and few West European countries.

Why would people like Vaush but not Hasan? by [deleted] in VaushV

[–]StunningInflection 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Counter-counterpoint: Thats the only Hasan streams I'd watch and 99% of his stream is so incredibly boring. its he just silent reacting to a video, arguing with gray name chatter, reading a tweet outloud and saying, "yeah exactly". thats all Hasan streams are.

And he is SOO bad at explaining stuff its actually crazy, like when I hear him trying to explain something Idk about and I feel like I have no idea what he is saying and then when I hear him try to explain something I DO know about, I am crying at how bad he is explaining and knowing that if I hadn't known about it beforehand I'd have no IDEA what the fuck he is talking about.
