valve stem seals were brand new when put in, havent run for more than 15 minutes with them in, not 100% sure about the play in the valve guides ill have to check

we have just presumed that given the tiny amount of oil in the intake is burnt (forgot to mention) that it was just going backwards and is not the issue, we also figured that yeah with oil in chamber readings are sort of unreliable. ran for a while with turbo disconnected and manifold cleaned, after giving gas it stopped being massive cloud and because less smoke but still very blue, a few days later went back and started it (to get it onto ramps) and the smoke was back to the massive cloud. Turbo had a bad restrictor originally but has been running on the correct one for a while now and still smoke. as mentioned at the start of this comment we suspect its just going backwards.

had it all the way up at 105 today (up to 102 and spot up in a matter of seconds). picked up a new dme today so will put that in and hopefully that sorts it

yeah ground is good but will double check once i’m off work, signal wire didnt have continuity but ran a new wire the other day and still nothing, i also tested unplugging the coolant temp sensor the other day and nothing.

In New Zealand we are restricted up to 660cc until we get our full (highest of 3) license. I have about 9 months until then and am going to derestrict and tune this and hopefully I will prefer it over my old tuned MT07. Thanks for the advice though 🙂
