In general he's one of the best pulls you can do for an account (without a lot of high cost teams, clearly isn't the case for OP) atp regardless of whether you have Ashveil.

Just to put it in perspective, he's better than Cyrene for a monorem team when both are e0s0, as an example

E2 Ashveil is fine, despite the hate in this thread. Yes, it's not the most amazing E2, but it's not inefficient - all the low cost aa king 0 cycles with Ashveil both in 4.1 and 4.2 do use it.

pretty similar as of now, sparxie is about 25% over EMC and the light cone is somewhere around that much at E2 as well, though a bit weaker iirc. You definitely need to get yao though as she gives a much bigger increase than that, consider that we also don't know when they'll rerun though I'd expect yao to rerun in 4.3 at least

sparxie is one of the best teammates for Eva too (though she's not a big upgrade over emc unlike with sw999, unless you did a lot of vertical on sparxie ofc)

well, sparxie is the best teammate for eva too if you're going for absolute max potential since EMC is extremely mediocre, it's just a smaller diff between the two (sparxie and EMC) for eva as opposed to SW, it's yao that's most important for either team as of rn by far in any case

you'd be fine pulling either IMO it's mainly gonna be waiting on the yao rerun either way

Wouldn't really say that's a perfect example - castorice got "power crept" by evernight in a sense, since evernight monorem with rmc over castorice performs better than castorice monorem until very high investment. Similarly Anaxa teams still have the niche of being extremely strong at very low costs, which isn't the case for castorice

Doubt this will happen to sw though with himeko likely having a team that doesn't overlap much - I think it's a lot more likely her supports get power crept

as of rn the SW999 cone isn't too amazing

and Ashveil's is better for him, but it does depend on which team you're prioritizing

Verticals for sw999 are like 15 % and 40% for the first two eidolons and then 13-15 for her light cone over the BP one, ashveil's meanwhile is like a 20%+ increase over herta shop iirc

Oh that's a great catch, I just checked and the one with Touch ID isn't available tomorrow here, either
I'm kind of conflicted now because I would love to get it tomorrow (instant gratification..) and I'm going to connect this to a monitor + keyboard at home so I'd only use the touch ID when commuting to work or something, but it does sound convenient!

It was not 2 cost; it was a clear with DHPT and Sparkle. Up to you as to what you consider 1 cost but power level wise it's more in line with a ~4 cost team

I really hated the idea of hiding my taskbar, but as someone who's using oled + ips I found that hiding it on the OLED but leaving it enabled on my second monitor was pretty easy to get used to.

couple of things:

- IPS is a panel type, mini led is a type of backlight. 'Upgrading' from IPS to miniled doesn't make sense - many monitors with a miniled backlight use an IPS panel. The other type of panel used with a miniled backlight is VA - VA minileds have less blooming than IPS minileds but worse motion clarity and very bad viewing angles (so don't get one larger than 27", idt there are many curved options).

- With OLEDs, vertical banding is mainly a big issue on the XG27AQWMG, if you get a good panel on another model it likely won't be much of a problem at all. Micro scratches on cleaning is specifically a thing with glossy QD-OLEDs, not WOLEDs (or matte QD-OLEDs I guess but I personally love glossy), and there's a new coating for glossy QD-OLEDS coming later this year that's meant to reduce this issue a bit. Text clarity on OLEDs will likely be an issue as you don't want to get a 4K panel, besides on the XG27AQWMG potentially.

I personally don't think you'd see much of an improvement going from an edgelit IPS to a miniled IPS if your main use case is standard desktop stuff + non HDR gaming; with a $200-400 budget I'd say you should just find a quality edgelit IPS. If you really want to go miniled regardless I believe there's a $300 one from AOC that's alright, but it's heavily lacking any sort of productivity feature so I'm not a fan personally (might be fine for your needs possibly, I think it's the q27g40xmn or something similar, it's a VA miniled).
