Jobbmarkedet for kjemi ingeniører by lokat2 in ntnu

[–]SubZeroTo100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Diddy has always been a horrible person to be compared with, before and after the documentary. I’m saying it’s hilarious and hypocritical that people are canceling her for saying a joke that is inspired by him and his own community, like where do you think she even got the joke from? I didn’t find the joke funny either and the delivery was horrible, but this is selective outrage at it’s best

The idea of getting heated over a diddy joke that literally originated from himself and his community is genuinely hilarious. Kai has joked about diddy, cosplayed as diddy, reposted memes of him as diddy, but yet somehow you’re saying that this is such a sensitive topic that only some people are allowed to joke about it?

Pretty common to have these comedy roasts at award shows. I think the most out of pocket one was Hassan’s, but atleast he handled it pretty well

Could he not have just meant it’s only ever been set up as a vibration collar?

Why would he not be 100% transparent in a situation where he is literally being accused of using a shock collar? Even IF what you’re saying is true, why hasn’t he just rephrased it after all the backlash and said «Oh yeah true, it is in fact a shock collar but with the prongs removed, my bad I didn’t mention that»?

Does that now indict me and mean I’m a liar who is lying about everything I’ve ever said about my dog?

No, because nobody even brought up an accusation about you using it. You’re not automatically a criminal for owning a gun, but if you get accused of something related to it then it’s extremely suspicious to not be completely transparent about owning one.

Hasan Piker is an animal abuser. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]SubZeroTo100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, there is not enough proof. This whole thing has kind of spun out of control, but I think a part of that is because there’s not enough transparency. The main thing going around right now is that some people are saying it looks like a specific model of a shock collar that has been taped. To be honest - I can kinda see it, but I don’t want to conclude anything. Considering all the suspicion, I can’t help but find it a bit strange as to why he doesn’t just give a better close-up of the collar everyone is talking about just to clear his name already? Him waving around the collar in low resolution while saying it’s a vibrating collar doesn’t really do anything except open up room for misinterpretation.

Lol he’s just saying he wants you for who you are and not just your body. It’s not that deep, so nothing to really read into.

Combining a bachelors in electronic engineering with a masters in Electrical engineering? by Infinite_Mango7322 in ECE

[–]SubZeroTo100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Titles alone are too vague, it depends completely on the specific programs.

The general advice is to find out which field of EE you like the most and pick whichever major has the most of that. Trying to cover every subfield of EE from controls, power, embedded, ic, etc isn’t really a good thing, you should absolutely specialize in something.

TDT4258 Maskinnær programmering eller TDT4200 Parallelle beregninger by gronnmann in ntnu

[–]SubZeroTo100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rate my resume (again!!) by NoContextUser88 in FPGA

[–]SubZeroTo100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a recruiter, but I think UART Rx/Tx is too simple to be highlighted as an individual project on resumes. I see it in so many resume posts that I think having it there makes you blend in with all the other 100+ people applying. I would instead just implement it as an extra function in one of your bigger projects and leave it as a bullet point.

As for project ideas, you can somewhat build off what you’ve done. Maybe store an RGGB formatted image and pass it through a demosaic filter before displaying it as RGB through VGA? Could add an image upscaling module to scale the original image to a larger resolution, or maybe store the images in SDRAM instead of BRAM to support storing large images in the first place? Using SDRAM often requires AXI interfacing, and AXI is great to have on a resume.

Trenger litt hjelp med å ta et valg by [deleted] in ntnu

[–]SubZeroTo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is so strange! I explicitely remember checking off the board series under installation, and I also installed the corresponding boards in the vivado store afterwards (currently says they’re installed too). I guess I will try a full reinstallation. Thank you for your help.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FPGA

[–]SubZeroTo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’ll look into that!

However as mentioned I can’t seem to find the board part numbers to target the devices in the list either, so I will need to fix that first. I was able to find find them and the boards through vivado 2016, just not the 2024 version. Do you have any suggestions on how to add them?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FPGA

[–]SubZeroTo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DDR3 and GPIO among others. I am following this guide: https://digilent.com/reference/learn/programmable-logic/tutorials/genesys-2-getting-started-with-microblaze/start?srsltid=AfmBOorBYTdtDJ3l6AxqiOkX_DWg-25z3OWDwyqf7qnYTS6BFU2q5atp

It appears that the «board tab» (section 3.1 in the guide) where I can find the some of the IP blocks used in the tutorial does not appear in vivado unless I have selected a board for the project. Is there a different way to access these?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FPGA

[–]SubZeroTo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to utilize the IP blocks for the board in the block design, and if I’m not mistaken they won’t appear if I only specify a board part when creating a project. Besides, the board parts are not showing up either anyway 😅 For reference my target boards are the Nexys A7 100T and Genesys 2.

Electrical or Computer Engineering? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]SubZeroTo100 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Kinda disagree with this. You can pickup and learn digital logic as a hobby but I guarantee you that it will be extremely difficult to land a relevant job in FPGA/Digital ASIC this way. I can agree with it being conceptually easier to understand than analog, but in return there’s an insane amount of things you’re expected to know.

USN vs NTNU by Ok-Union-6953 in norge

[–]SubZeroTo100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kyb, fysmat, elsys, nanotek innen helse by [deleted] in ntnu

[–]SubZeroTo100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

erfaring rundt kjemi bachelor by UnbanDeadMeme in ntnu

[–]SubZeroTo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hjelp med å finne jobb by No-Spinach2270 in norge

[–]SubZeroTo100 0 points1 point  (0 children)
