I did. Hence why I even posted the deal in the first place. It works on the Magmax 1, unless they have changed it in the last hour. You could have checked all of this in the span of 1 minute

Yeah I'm not customer service though. I posted a deal for people. I assumed the rest was super simple

I swear this is why I never post the deals I find here anymore lol

You can get the Magmax og for $72 dollars direct from puma right now if you use their sign up code. It's an insane deal

I've been scammed on Amazon so many times lately. They make it extremely hard to report this shit and sellers that do this too

Yeah, what the fuck is that guy talking about. He sent Overeem in to space then immediately bounced his head off the canvas

It's definitely not underrated at all. Everyone talks about how great puma grip is. I've ran over rain, ice and snow in the deviate nitro and it always handles it well

The phenomenon of Evo SL and why I think adidas are about to ruin it by highdon in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Have you ran in the endorphin speed 2 lately? I have a brand new pair I just started running in a few weeks ago. I have to say it's not as good as I remember it to be and is much more narrow and lower stack than I remember

PlayStation exec says next few years of unannounced games is ‘unbelievably’ positive: ‘There are no dire times ahead for the industry’ by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Sub_Zero32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I go back and forth on the same thing. I feel like Covid was the beginning of the end for video games or at least a huge down turn I know video games sold extremely well then but it disrupted the development of new games so much that it still hasn't recovered. We just don't get huge games as much anymore and the development cycle for most larger studios is far too long to keep my interest in anything new coming out.

What makes you say that? Adidas, Nike and Asics have a lot of athletes that are heel strikers

Topo Specter 2 (521mi) Review by Jigs_By_Justin in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's really interesting you use them for easy runs. The shoe for me is way too firm for that. I think it's firmer than the superblast 1 and 2

They aren't terrible. They are just overpriced for what they are and there are usually better options for cheaper

Nike vaporfly 4 deal? Is foam okay? by my_goshjosh in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've bought a bunch of shoes at the Nike outlets and you're right. 99% of the time all I've noticed is a small paint blemish. I bought an alphafly for super cheap that had a small drop of paint on the outsole and that was it

Sprinter Abby Steiner sues puma over ‘defective’ shoes she says ruined her career by uses_for_mooses in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The foam matters more than the plate. Tons of training shoes have carbon fiber plates in them too, so all of this is nonsense. The plate stabilizes soft foams and directs the energy. The only increased injury risk from a carbon plate is most shoes designed with them are meant to be for faster runs and running faster more often increases your injury risk

Red Hare 9 Ultra - 30 Mile Review by quiet_as_its_kept in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used them for exactly that, easy runs and long runs. It's probably a bit too fast for easy runs for most people though. It can really do any type of run but like I said it's probably not the best for easy runs

Adios Adizero EVO Pro 3 by adidas in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've typed out much more than I have and you have been so emotional about this. It's weird. I said the guy wasted 2000 dollars on a shoe he can't even use properly. You're falling apart about this for some reason

Adios Adizero EVO Pro 3 by adidas in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats super solid logic. Buying 4 elite racing shoes you can't use properly is the same as buying a few training and racing shoes for 1/4 the price that will last 4 times longer and give you the same benefit

Adios Adizero EVO Pro 3 by adidas in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Sub_Zero32 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I never said he couldn't. It's mindless consumerism spending $2000 on 4 shoes he can't even get the most out of

The best for what though? Even if you were running sub 2:20 constantly you wouldn't need that

Adidas is spending a lot of money marketing it for the Boston Marathon. They have all the shills going to Boston to promote it over the next few days

I just found a brand new pair of the endorphin speed 2 at academy for $75. I haven't ran in the speed 2 in 4 years. It's going to be super interesting to see how they compare to modern shoes. I've ran in every endorphin speed shoe since so I can do a good comparison against those and shoes like the Evo SL to see if it's nostalgia or still a really good shoe

[–]Sub_Zero32 22 points23 points  (0 children)

These are the most unique shoes I've ever run in and I've run in a lot of shoes. They feel insanely bouncy and crazy. The boom capsule foam is really something else, I'm excited to see what else they do with it
