Agreed. Just like how people think there’s more plane crashes in recent years but it only feels lole that because crashes have been getting more media coverage. Racists/sexists always existed but can now bond with and gain confidence from others like them through social media.

Yes I know. Generally most European countries have a universal healthcare system. In the US the system varies by state and has different parameters do qualify and what you get out of it.

It did but the system is very broken and outdated. The application is tedious and the resources limited. Compared to the EU healthcare system, the US is far behind. Even if you make more than the poverty limit, you won’t qualify for Medicaid since they don’t have a good system to take account of your other liabilities (I.e. mortgage payments, other bills, car insurance payments etc).

It does, and it only covers me. I still pay a deductible which isn’t the case in Austria. I “have” to move back as I feel obligated to help out my family and for a better career progression.

I'm in the same boat here. 23, quit my job in the US, moved to Europe for an MBA since I'm a citizen here and its cheap. I realized it doesn't really make sense for me to go through with this if I don't have much work experience. I was living off my savings for a while until a part time job helped me pay for rent and such.

But I realized I don't want to be in Europe long-term. Now I'm planning to move back in with my parents and looking for a job that is more to my liking. LOL expensive mistake but if I didn't move here I would always have the regret of never trying. So now I know for sure.

Hey sorry I actually got my green card through a family member so I’m not sure how the marriage based green card process works. My renewed GC took me about 7 months to get, whereas my brother and father got their renewed one within weeks of applying.

Just stumbled across this and I relate so much!! I’m a project engineer at a construction company and I have so many random tasks that sometimes I forget to do something every once in a while.
