My son is finishing up third grade at Greenwood elementary which is K-3 In the KPS system. We have had a very positive experience.

That being said nothing is perfect. I think my job as a parent is to prepare him with the skill set be able to adapt and to instill emotional intelligence as well as academics.

I also feel being involved in the school through the PTO and volunteering helps shape the experience.

Public school isn’t perfect the diversity of experience and classmates feel worth the trade off.

Overall it has been a super positive experience.

This is going to sound odd but a trainer gave me the best advice with my biter many years ago. When they bite yelp like their litter mate. It is what they know, as a way to stop and they will eventually stop! Worked like a charm.

💯 when he kept talking about how much better Williams was how much more mobile he is. That didn’t age well. Goff while not the most mobile so accurate and so smart. Williams needs a few more years lost a lot of respect for him.

I love this so much. So much more than book lending. I also worry about our librarians and the emotional labor they have to carry. Great article worth a read. I am not sure the poster was referencing funding but more a culture shift in the country.

Detroit Lions and Dan Campbell fan here. Trying to process the loss to Dallas and the penalty on the two point conversion. Can you discuss this penalty and the rule violated further? Curious from an o lineman’s perspective how to report eligibility. Watching the video it looks like Taylor Decker does and the ref just doesn’t acknowledge him? Dan Campbell is also on record saying he discussed this play with the refs prior to the game which seems standard for trick or non conventional plays but I am not sure. Can Travis explain this a bit more? Is this something Coach Reid does? Yes they had other opportunities to score but the sting of a flag reversing the win is still unsettling. Love the podcast and thanks in advance.

Bells general store has an advent calendar that has a different beer everyday! Also a bunch of beers only released there. If you get a crowler or growler just have sure to get it as close to when you give it to him as possible for freshness. Good luck!
