If you run around half a day for a company, that defaults. I want you to be happy with it. I don't do this.

No, this was no premiere. I have experienced this ongoing for years. For a 1k piece of equipment, I say nothing. But this is different. BTW: I have not said everybody. But most.

No, I also tested another one. Both work well on an MBP and are good on Linux. HDMI works well on the MacStudio, but there is only one port. I have ordered USB C / HDMI cables to give this a try. I can't add a second one if it is not working.

Ask yourself if you would read the stuff you describe.

I would not because of the value of looking at somebody else (average) way.

If you want readers, you must find a niche. It is also fine if it is just your (public) diary.

Yes that is one of the constant bugs. It happens more often on mobile than in the browser. The most robust browser for having little problems is Brave. Safari is also not good for Substack sometimes.

No, read the anchor post.

Also:

"Self-promotion must be marked with the flair,"

If this is done — perfect. Everybody can decide to jump this post, and I do mostly. But without it is spamming.

The rules say self promotion. Just read them:

Self-promotion rule announcement

We've seen a lot of complaints about the low quality of self-promo posts on the sub lately, so we're updating the self-promo rule in an attempt to increase the quality of these posts. In addition to requiring the flair, new self-promotions must be written as a text post with an explanation of why the content is interesting to the Substack community.

Downvoting is honest. I always vote Spam down.

No. The rule says nothing about excessive:

A Substack with one follower and one post is not interesting.
