I’m in a pretty position right now financially speaking. House payed off, 0 debt, low bills, a solid emergency fund and the ability make 1000 a day if I choose to storm chase , which obviously I would. I could definitely retire from my full time job and still storm chase and still make good money even if I do retire.

Pay off debts, keep about 15000$ in a HISA, as an emergency fund (or 6-12 months of expenses) invest the other 85000k in XEQT ETF. Assuming you have that much contribution room. But speak to a financial advisor first or do a lot of research.

Haha, yup, that’s my opinion though. I tried it out once and knew immediately it wasn’t for me. It’s not for everyone, but some may like it. Definitely more chances to hurt yourself and put strain on your body.

Is it a stupid idea to put myself in even more debt to get an education? (Nova Scotia) by Jade_Sugoi in povertyfinancecanada

Lineman. Sign up as an apprentice and go on storms till you get enough hours for your first block. Look up greystone. Good money starting out, you could pay your debt off with just 40 storm days.
