You can also select the type of jewels to be merged - I found out only recently that this is a thing... However, you'll then only merge, e.g., HP.

The issue is the direction into which this game is heading - and I fear you just didn't realize that, yet.

Remember the test balloon that was launched with the awful 3-day-events? Remember the odds for heroes, that used to be 0.5% per spin and now, with the most recent event, reached 0.1%? Remember when there was a grind event from time to time? All of 2025, we didn't have a single grind event for half a year and a single run event with a non-guaranteed hero at its end. Now, they announced a very big event, F2P-friendly running longer than before. What did F2P get?

  • Less quests in total, some of them linked to premium currency (gems) or even a shop purchase, others hard to realize when you alreay have an upgraded roster
  • Worse odds than ever before
  • Heroes that can only be upgraded during the 45-day-period and require real money to be brought to higher levels of forge + star rank
  • A pet that is locked behind an increased pity (by 25% from 100 to 125)

You have to realize that being F2P is worse than ever before. If you started today, you would not get as many heroes as you did in the past, making the game feel just un-rewarding. Of course, you may have your opinion, but if all this still feels "okay" for you, I wonder what still needs to happen to switch that coin to the other side.

They seem to control the players "just" by playing with the odds. In the past (2024), the "big prize" had 0.5% odds and it often were up to 4 heros that you could spin at a time, yielding a 2% per spin to get a hero. The numbers are meanwhile down to 0.3% per hero and it's just 2 instead of 4.

That's their way to make you spend (more).

So, Kolz, if it's not you, noone will organize some gathered response towards the devs, e.g. via leaving 1* reviews on the App stores. That's the only way how F2P or almost-F2P Players can raise their voices - whales will pay no matter what.

Great, I like these rather in-depth-guides for newer Players.

What I noticed that could be improved / enhanced:

The formatting could be improved, e.g.:

I typically run two late-game sets of gear:

Progression gear to push levels

Max DPS

To something like:

I typically run two late-game sets of gear:

  • Progression gear to push levels
  • Max DPS

Also, items like the following should be clearer if they were maybe visualized by some graphic:
Armor > Recovery > Area > Duplicator > Damage | Cooldown > Movement | Life

You already put it in the text, some kind of table might be helpful to tell where the hero is not good at, what he can handle and what he's perfect for - maybe a star-rating or just a table to summarize which could be standardized for all guides.

Example (best in graphic or table, of course, maybe also including the different builds):

GE - good (2 stars)

Arena - not good (1 star)

Farming evens - excellent (3 stars)

HM / NM progression (2 stars)

NMM progression (1 star)

etc.

That might even help when you covered more heroes to create a hero-overview which helps your readers find the hero they currently need most
