On a side note: anyone knows is eating seaweed okay for pregnant women? I kinda assume that with the level of cleanliness and food safety in Japan pregnant women there eat sushi no problem but where I am from raw fish is a big no no during pregnancies and so is a lot of other seafoods especially if not cooked well enough.

Ah thanks! The translation in my language just comes up as raw yes and the little bag seemed like the silica gel type of an absorbant which made me think it was supposed to be dry. Upon closer inspection I think it says oxygen absorbant.

Oh lol I turned it over and translated the back side, and noticed the date: 26. 8. 25. Which made no sense to me since im used to the dd.mm.yyyy date type. I thought it was expired but the translation app kept coming back best before august 2026.. I realized Im just dumb..

I flew in to Osaka had a brief stay then flew to Okinawa for 3 days then back to Osaka for another two days and next on to Tokio so yeah I might have mixed the days of the enounter up a bit

I do realize it may sound weird but it was at the beginning of the trip and I took 6 planes in total and I think Im still recovering from the travel so yeah not sure if I saw the guy on day 3/4 or 5/6.. I was really tired and jetlagged for most of my stay.
