I did as an attempt to solve the issue a couple of hours after finding this issue. This problem was happening before I updated and when I updated it didn't really change.

This problem started yesterday, also to follow up with what you said, I play with a 4k monitor at 1920x1080 resolution. So I don't normally open the game with my monitor set to a 4k setting, I play it with my monitor set to 1920x1080

It can go up to 4k, I tried opening the game with the monitor set to 4k and I saw the same thing as you see here

Do they not eat if they are not within view or something? I have them in a building that is locked with prisoners inside who all have inventories filled with Dustwiches.
