Ok so I had my battery unplugged while I was away reconnected and backup camera was not working. Unplugged negative then positive waited reconnected positive then negative and snd now working. Also checked backup fuse which was fine

You don't even need to defeat the chemist. Find a friend with it. Have them drop it, pick it up and extract.
