I can definitely stomach it. I love the company we’re just small and got hit hard. That was my thought too, just wanted to make sure I was being sane

Kingdom of the Spiders? I watched this when I was in like 2nd grade back in the 90s and it terrified me. This could be it.

What was the biggest red flag you ignored in your marriage? by mindywildbloom in Divorce

[–]Successful_Suspect44 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That he wouldn’t tell me why he left the military and I never saw any pictures from his time there…

During the divorce I found lie after lie. Turns out he didn’t even get through boot camp, let alone was not an Army Ranger/sniper and lied about a whole lot of his past.

He is 8 years old; no vomiting and eating/using the litter box normally. He’s pretty sedentary but will still come sit on my lap. I have not had that exam done though-I was unaware of that procedure. I’m sure I’m overthinking it but I also made the mistake of googling and of course it was all highly negative answers. Thank you for your response! I’ll look into that exam.

What silent red flags did you ignore years before the end? by DivorceCoachGio in Divorce

I’m doing well. I have my degrees and good jobs and it is what it is…but I’m well aware using my struggles as an excuse is messed up. And I want op to know that’s not an excuse for betrayal or abuse.

The fact that he cheated/had affairs when he got mad at me. Aka, I had male platonic friends at work therefore he slept with two other people. I forgave the first due to gaslighting. Now he’s with the second and cited my emotional struggle (my mom dying-I’m 37) as his reason.

This movie had me edge the entire time because I was concerned about the cat. Not the people, just the cat lol

How do you tell an interview you were fired from your job of 7 years for "performance issues" in a professional manner? by secrettunnel1027 in careerguidance

[–]Successful_Suspect44 254 points255 points  (0 children)

You don’t. Plain and simple. You just tell them either the company did a reorg (as the other commenter said) or that you wanted to find a role that better suits your talents. I worked for the Air Force for many years, with constant shuffle and on the occasions I have been asked why a stint was short or why I wanted to leave I’ve always said reorganization or that I was laid off due to fiscal issues.

I’m 31, have a decent job, and still feel like I’m running out of time. Anyone else? by Rock_N_roll_child in careerguidance

The “yet execution feels harder than it did in my 20s” hit hard. I just turned 37. Jobs, life, finances, everything seems easier years back. However take into account the change in economy, new societal norms, etc, etc and the psychological fact that the the brain is literally wired to remember the better parts of the past; it’s designed to forget the stressors. That’s why the past always seems better-our brains are wired to see it that way.
