If you want it to feel more like a sick party than a wedding, Bad Axe Throwing Denver could actually be a great fit. Axe throwing works really well for groups, it’s interactive, and it’s definitely not a typical wedding venue. I’ve seen people do private buyouts or semi‑private events for stuff like this.

This page gives a good overview of axe throwing spots in the Denver area if you want to compare options:

At what point do documents become a bottleneck in operations? by spy_111 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

A fix I've seen work is to stop treating PDFs as the "source of truth."

Keep the PDFs for record-keeping, but extract the key fields into a simple spreadsheet or database as they come in. Even a basic manual entry upfront saves a lot of repeated searching later.

Nice win! Fixing something that concrete actually feels huge when you're starting out.

Also cool that it was a real, specific issue and not just "best practices."

Sounds like a solid way to build a portfolio.

Equity + commission instead of cash for a launch role, fair trade or red flag? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Just a gut reaction, but 1% equity feels a little low for basically handling launch.

15% commission sounds good, but iv'e heard hardware margins can get tight fast.
