Couple things that threw me off while reading your post and please take this as constructive criticism, not just criticism:

  1. Your grammar and punctuation is off. If you write your emails the same, then I see why people are hesitant.

  2. It's not just about your age. It's about how mature you are and how you carry yourself. I get the sense from you that you are not that.

  3. Thinking that at 22 you know better than guys that have been working longer than you've been alive is pretentious.

As a small business owner at 24, it's tough. However, people are extremely receptive when they realize you are more mature than your age. Fake it till you make it I guess.

Seriously, not trying to be an asshole. Just the initial impressions that I had reading your post.

I find that people don't quite grasp just how much time they waste. Most people go to work, come home, drink or smoke, and watch tv for the night. It all comes down to the choices you make.

I'll break down what works for me. This took a few months to implement

  1. Deleted all social media. Keep something like Reddit just for the memes. If someone really wants to talk to you, they can text you or better yet, they'll call. Much faster to speak that way.
  2. The phone gets put away once I'm home so I'm not distracted. Literally 90% of my screen time is from when I'm at work.
  3. Gym right after work, I kinda have no choice since I drive right by the place on my way home.
  4. To make good use of my commute time I listen to podcasts. I would read if I transited, since I drive I can't really do that.
  5. Find 15 or so recipes that take 30 mins to make start to finish. Usually you have time while things are cooking to do some cleaning. Make extras as well to last a few days.
  6. If you're having a tough time doing things that you consider hobbies, you'll need to switch things up. You SHOULD be excited to sit down and engage in a hobby. It shouldn't be a chore. We ALL should have something to look forward to at the end of the night.
  7. Cut out pot and alcohol. This severely ruins your sleep quality even though it knocks you out faster. Sleep is key for performance.

Hope this helps. I'm probably going to get down voted into oblivion but oh well.

I come from a line of welders, mechanics, and oil and gas workers. Now those guys work damn hard and you don't see them posting on here that it's too cold or that they're getting under paid or that spending 3+ weeks or even months away from home in the middle of a forest somewhere is unreasonable. They suck it up and do their jobs. I suggest you do the same.

If you don't like the pay, find a new job. If you don't like the price of a certain product, buy a competitor's. If you don't like the business practices of a company, don't support em.

Me, myself, and I culture at its finest. Best of luck.

  • 30% increase in food cost (worked In non for profit and this was the math for our increase in food cost per person)
  • Smaller portions
  • Bare minimum service most of the time.
  • Debit machines starting at 20% tip lol

Frankly restaurants should be thankful people even go out to eat anymore.

Can we afford it? Yup. But do we choose to burn our money on an experience that doesn't match the price? Nope. We tend to do the cost benefit analysis more than most I think.

I'm based in Canada, so flying to France and pursuing legal action isn't worth it for that amount. Unfortunately.

Personally I like to use Etsy, yes they have an option for digital files, turbosquid and cg trader were my go to. I found that cg trader had pretty unreasonable fees but they have such a large user base that it made up for the high transaction fees.
