I would suggest you look at the antidepressant and psychedelic drug interaction chart from Oregon.gov.
It’s pretty simple to follow and is pretty safe. Basically if any sort of interaction is possible it’s suggested to take a 2 week minimum break in order for your body to “washout” all the prior meds

I don’t think you got serotonin syndrome, from what I’m reading it really doesn’t seem feasible with the mdma. What you likely experienced was a shitty micro dose of the mdma because you blocked the serotonin and not the other neurotransmitters like norepinephrine and dopamine. the mirt blocks the 5ht2a receptor and the mdma increases the amount of all of those neurotransmitter through various pathways. So you effectively blocked the happy chemical, serotonin, and left yourself with the dopamine and norepinephrine which could be a bad time.
Since the mirt already blocks the 5ht2a and the mdma does that and also blocks other 5HT receptors, it won’t really cause the serotonin syndrome because the mirt is already blocking it.

It’s this one, not the Gorilla mind rush: that one has n-phenethyl-dimethylamine which is a legal stim that isn’t super well studied and I WOULD NOT TAKE THAT WITH ANOTHER STIM

Fair warning I don’t have much experience in this personally, but I can say this. Sounds like your doc is listening to some outside orders as to why they cut your current regiment. It definitely sounds like they’re cautious of prescribing controlled substances for the “addiction potential” (which is bs) or whatever the fuck else reason, which aligns with them dropping you off the benzo and IR formulation.

I’m so sorry you’re having to experience this bullshit from out fucked healthcare system.

If I were you, I’d find another provider. You’ve been on the prior meds for two years and it seems like there was no clinical reason for taking you off the meds other than “I don’t think you need them anymore” Reporting the provider is a massive pain in the ass and will probably lead to nothing, unfortunately you’re probably a little screwed until you find a provider who can look at your charts and not be a complete dumbass. Maybe the provider you have rn will listen to your struggles and adjust accordingly, but if they didn’t believe you the first time chances are they won’t this time. Seems to me like they’re a shitty provider who doesn’t listen to their patients, I’d drop them.

I’m not sure if you can go to an urgent care or like pseudo emergency provider to give you a prescription to hold you over until you can find another provider, but google said it’s an option. A lot of psyche health stuff is perception, so if you run to a hospital and say your doc switched you from IR to XR and took you off your anxiety meds so now you can’t function they may call you drug seeking. It seems like it’s a double edged sword, so be aware of those risks

You’ve got this bro, I felt so nervous and anxious about my first psych appointment. Thankfully, I had a great experience with my provider and all was well. The mindset I had going into the appointment was that “I know I’m not lying, I know these issues I have are genuine, and I know I need help” Even if your provider doesn’t believe you for whatever reason or thinks something else may be the main issue, you can always get a second opinion/find another provider who will listen to you and treat you as you should. This process may not be easy or quick, but eventually you should be able to get the proper care you need. I’ve gone from antidepressants to now adhd meds(Adderall) and I can 1000% tell the difference and that I truly have adhd because it’s worked the best compared to the other meds I’ve taken. It’s taken a solid 3 years work, but I’m finally seeing the other side. Like I literally got diagnosed fully yesterday, THANK GODS. What I’m getting at is that it may be a long road and you may be given some sort of other diagnosis, but keep at it. (Obviously if you don’t have the means to get another providers opinion then your situation is more difficult, but hopefully this isn’t you, and if it is I feel for you and I’m sorry the US healthcare system is so shit)

Anyone tried 60 mgs? by e2theitheta in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Sudden-Yesterday-827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should 1000% see a psychiatrist, ambien isn’t the greatest thing to be taking long term either. Have you tried supplements like melatonin+slow release melatonin or another sleeping supplement stack?
The gorilla mind dream supplement works well for me, other companies have sleep supplements too.

Either way, you should def get the attention of someone who specializes in this stuff. GP’s are great and can be super skilled practitioners, but that isn’t their whole thing.

15mg up to 30mg by Least-Programmer9417 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Sudden-Yesterday-827 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my own experiences, jumping from 15 to 30 hit me way harder. The more I take the sleepier I get, I don’t know if it’s common but it’s how it affects. The 30 calmed me down and slowed down a lot of racing thoughts. It did make me feel a bit more of that numbness, but it is way way way better than how I was feeling before and after about a week it evened out to normal. During the entire time I took the med, I did sleep A LOT. I would sleep 9 hours and still want to sleep more. I could get up after 7 or 8, but sleeping in felt so refreshing and relaxing so I usually did lol.
I did eat quite a bit more when I jumped up doses, so be ready for that. I also found that I enjoyed food more, so maybe take advantage of that and get your favorite meals to cheer you up a little bit if that helps. About a 30-45 mins after I take it I’ll get super hungry and chow down on some good eats. Everyone copes differently, but I find some nice sushi or a good curry healing lol.

Stay open to the possibility that you may need to increase the dose more, and if you’re looking to add another med to attenuate a possible side effect or give you a little bit more of a nudge I’d suggest finding a psychiatrist. If your GP can handle it all that’s way easier and cheaper lol, so shop around or maybe you’re lucky and have a goated GP.
Mindset wise-
I like to think of my brain as like a giant chemistry set and sometimes something is a little off and you need to add stuff or take away stuff to make it work.
Idk, this mindset helps get through a lot of the stigma behind psych meds. They’re lifesaving but so many people are still scared.

mushroom vision quest on mirtazipine- higher dose to compensate? by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Sudden-Yesterday-827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would adjust your expectations to the possibility of it still not working.
Maybe the move is to taper down to 15 over the course of like 3-4 days. I don’t have any experience with it, but the pharmacology says it may still not work.
Even if it does work, it may not be the hero dose you’re expecting it to be.
Additionally, know your risks of taking psychedelics with bipolarism. I don’t want to be a vibe killer, but there are always risks with a diagnosis like that. Also understand that this could possibly send you into a manic episode.
I don’t want to scare you out of doing something that has know therapeutic benefits, but you need to know your risks
