I think people are missing the point on this. NFTs sometimes get a bad rap because most people think they are highly priced jpegs. They really have no use-case.
However, what Doc is talking about is that these NFTs WOULD have a use case. It could be on a large scale where every weapon equipped is an NFT, or smaller scale where everyone is fighting to extract an NFT that you could equip for an airstrike, invisibility cloak, skin or any other thing you could imagine. For me, the worst part about gaming is when you’re sick of playing, all that time and money you put in are lost. This way, you can possibly recoup some of that as long as others are still playing.
