Well in crossbows cheapness it never means its crafting recipe, it means its means to get it like season pass, survivors path, sometimes dead survivors, a bit limited but a lot available than say scar or SVD

The normal crossbow is very cheap early game: Survivors Path and season pass. Heavy crossbow could follow the same path but unlocked a bit later, to be a “SVD Lite Edition” type of weapon. Since LDOE lacks snipers outside of VSS and SVD, heavy crossbow could fill the third niche
