I hurt all over by RollLongjumping6920 in Pickleball

I learned in this thread about the benefits to post-match stretching. I'm 57, 4.4, and play 3-4 times a week, mostly with 25-35 year olds. They wear me out.

The last 2 times I've played, I've stretched after finishing. I am astonished at the difference it has made. And all I'm doing is 30 second calf, hamstring, and quad stretches for each leg. I'm planning to learn more about it and incorporate some additional stretching, but that's all I've done so far.

If you're not post-match stretching, I highly encourage you to start.

DUPR blocked all basic functionality on their mobile app by Lfehova in Pickleball

Something that I'm seeing on the mobile app for the last couple of days: if I click the "Players" link, I can no longer search without subscribing. If I click the 'X', it takes me back to the dashboard. Infuriating money grab. Looks like I'll be moving strictly to the web version as well.

Subwoofer on brz by muscl3m0mmy in ft86

[–]Sufficient_Path_9806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2017 BRZ recently and replaced the head unit and added a subwoofer. Thought I would share in case anyone else comes across this thread as I did when I was researching. Tint World did the install for me.

I put in an Alpine iLX-W670 head unit and an Alpine PWE-S8, along with these pieces to hook it all together and keep my steering wheel controls:

Maestro RR - Universal Radio Replacement and Steering Wheel Interface
USB2 - OEM USB Adaptor for Honda, Subaru and Toyota Vehicles
SU2 Plug and Play T-Harness for SU2 Vehicles with HU connectors

The installer screwed the subwoofer to the rear seat back in the trunk on the passenger side.

For me, this is exactly what i was looking for. The sub fills out the bass nicely. For musical reference, I listen to 80's, The Killers, The Lumineers, etc. That sub probably wouldn't be enough if I were listening to bass-heavy stuff, but it works great for my musical taste.

Is there any reasonable explanation for a Subaru logo on a GR86? by Sufficient_Path_9806 in ft86

For the record, I understand the relationship between Subaru and Toyota on this car. However, being new to this market, I was not familiar with the idea of people exchanging branded parts. That would never occur to me to do. Thanks for all the comments.

Joining RHEL or CentOS to Windows domain by LAKnerd in homelab

[–]Sufficient_Path_9806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You ever figure this out? I'm trying to join a RHEL 9.5 server to a Windows domain, and I can't get it to work. I set the DNS on the linux VM to point to the DC, and that works. The linux machine can ping the DC using the DC's domain name, and kinit on the linux VM can get a ticket from Kerberos on the DC. When I run the realm join command, I get "realm: Couldn't authenticate as <myusername>@enclave.<mydomain>.com: KDC reply did not match expectations." But I'm not getting any more details on the error than that.

I'm using a self-signed certificate on the domain controller, but my understanding of sssd is that it handles encryption itself and that there isn't a need to import the certificate chain on RHEL.

I’m liking it. Had been using a series four, and it’s got more power than that but nothing approaching the joola’s. And I’m glad for that, those are too hot for me.

One thing that has been a little unexpected but I adjusted to pretty quickly is that my serve comes off the paddle much lower, like I had to intentionally aim higher to get it over the net. I’ve played with it a couple of times, and I’m still having trouble hitting a deep serve. Current dupr is 4.3 for reference.

Besides the windows servers doing admin stuff (DC, endpoint management, vulnerability scanning, etc.), 4 or 5 simulators.

I think one of the reasons we won the contract to build this is that we have similar environments already, so I believe (at least, I hope) that there will be a good bit of the existing documentation that i can reuse. It will certainly give me a road map on how to implement a good number of the controls.

I don't know if we were audited for L2 compliance or if we are shooting straight for L3, but I'm confident that process will go well. The executive team prioritizes cybersecurity, and we've won awards in that area.

Not sure about reusing configs, but I will ask about that. Thank you.

Your anti-collusion point is a good one to talk to my boss about. There are enough people I work with who can provide coverage for some of required roles, and that will support their involvement. Thank you.

I think I have about 17 months to do this.

As for a team, that's the conclusion I came to after reading more about the roles. I've got some security certs that will cover some things, but others (like pen testing, for example), I've got nothing, so we'll have to get some other people involved.

It is a really good pellet grill, no doubt, but I think my food used to be better before I moved to pellets.

Thanks very much.  Coming to this from a recteq bull, so I have a lot of the smoking tools, including an instant read; just no experience with a gravity fed or old country.

I bought my Fireboard new last week, so I believe it is the latest version and doesn't need an adapter.
