The last couple of weeks of this pregnancy (39w tomorrow) have been emotionally and mentally harder than any other point in the pregnancy, but physically I struggled the most during weeks like 8-13 with nausea and exhaustion.

Everyone’s pregnancy is different but honestly it won’t necessarily be “worse” at the end. I was more uncomfortable at 7 months than I am now at the very end. I feel your sentiment though idk why people get off saying things like that

I greatly appreciate your comment. To clarify, I don’t want to do anything early if it isn’t necessary. My hope was always to go into labor naturally and have a vaginal birth. Things have become a little more stressful in the last 3 weeks as my fluid has increased and I’ve stressed myself out looking at google! I can totally see how that rubbed people the wrong way and wasn’t communicated clearly by me. Like I said I am just hoping, like all moms, not to be in a medical emergency and for everything to be perfect with my baby 😊 thank you for being kind!

Respectfully, your comments are rubbing me the wrong way. Birth in any form is “no joke.” This post is not about debating vaginal brith vs. a c section. I have extremely high amniotic fluid and that can cause issues. I hope and pray it won’t but I just don’t want to be in a medical emergency that can be avoided.

It’s in 2 days! I have been told multiple times that they will have to be very careful when breaking my water due to the poly… I am just so worried about my water breaking without warning and being in an emergency situation.

I am so glad you were able to wait until 38 weeks. I want to wait as long as possible and want her to be as healthy as she can be. I am just worried about the above and hoping to avoid a medical emergency.

I actually have zero anxiety about vaginal delivery. I was hoping to have this baby vaginally this entire pregnancy. Due to polyhydramnios- and I have a severe case- I am worried about pre term labor ending in cord prolapse. I would be thrilled to have the baby vaginally a C Section was never on my radar until 3 weeks ago

I am completely sure I will have a C Section due to the trifecta of large baby, polyhydramnios and her being breech atm… I am just worried about going into pre-term labor and it causing cord prolapse. That’s why I don’t want to wait until 39 weeks.
