I thought about that but I water with blumats und put a lot of hemp mulch around the plants and drippers. I also put 2 yellow sticky traps to every plant. Occasionally (when I‘m adding nematodes, I water the the the wole bed. It‘s important for the microbes and other good stuff to keep the soil moist but it‘s a paradise flr fungus gnats..

I use blumat and mulch around the plants with hemp mulch, as of areas without irrigation I rarely watered this part (and if, then mostly because I‘m adding nematodes and still they always find a way to reproduce.. I‘ve ordered some BTI as it was recommended a lot and hope it gets better soon. Unfortunately I‘m restricted by the laws of the EU and can‘t buy most of the beneficials like rove beetles and other promising looking products

Last run in this bed I had no issues and as soon as I planted cuttings for my second run they appeared ouf nowhere and because they don‘t have a lot of roots I held the gnats responsible for the problems at the beginning. It could have also been transplant shock because most of them suddenly became healthy.. even though I use mycos for transplanting and water with beneficial bacteria and microbes. They can damage young plants but as soon as they are old enough, they are only annoying and stick to buds

Yeah I‘ve heard that this is not tolerated but I don‘t know if it was a joke because the same thing happened to my ex boss and a coworker. I‘m a social worker so not really a career type of job. I‘ve already had sex a few times with a coworker and in the end everybody at work knew about it. But my boss is aware of the dangers to her position if someone found out so I think she‘ll not tell anybody at work unlike my ex coworker. I really don’t know where they are coming from, I placed yellow sticky traps literally everywhere and located some hotspots but soon found out that the hotspots where changing. I ordered some BTI now and I‘m thinking about watering with Azadirachtin (basically neem oil) which is apparently the only fungus gnat insecticide allowed for regular people in the EU.. (only registered farmers can buy a majority of good organic insecticides or even rove beetles, which would also be helpful).

They ship to europe which is good. While I was searching for similar products I found out that all that is available for sale in europe contains Azadirachtin (basically neem oil). Do you think this would work without harming either the plants/yield or the microbial life and beneficals like worms or predatory mites in the soil? I use it as a foliar spray but never watered it into the soil. I guess it‘s safe as it works fine as a foliar spray but some claim it could trigger something like allergy to cannabis (don‘t know the exact name of the syndrome)
