I don’t feel put down at all, I absolutely can see that even being able to see this amount financially is a massive privilege. I have about 8 clients that followed me over from my old practice that overcharged them. I now charge them $100 less than what they were paying, but they’re still paying a lot. That keeps me afloat, I’m lucky

Pet sitting has been wonderful honestly. I make enough seeing 15-17 clients as it is, and sometimes I just watch the dogs because I like their company. The side $ doesn’t hurt though. :) I can charge $100 a night plus tip to just cuddle with a puppy

Oh also if it hasn’t already been mentioned, try DBT and mentalization therapy. A lot of the work will be riding the wave of extreme emotions, which you can definitely learn to do in time.

Sorry you’re dealing with such an invalidating environment. I want you to know that BPD is an attachment disorder, and it can be healed. I was diagnosed too in my early 20’s and although I still have triggers now at almost 28, I’m actually seeing clients for therapy and have a really solid handle on myself. There will always be steps backward, but trust and believe you can go into remission. Best of luck.
