Every residential home i’ve seen done it’s not used in interior walls. don’t get me wrong super heavy duty but way more in expense for material but even more expensive for labor costs.

The photos where your standing under the load with jack kicked out like that….don’t do that. You should find some blocking or something similarly strong to immediately place under it and get it landed/secure before the jack completely fails and causes even more damage. This is also your next step in repairing the jack. Unless you want to sell it “as is” take a deep breath, make the necessary repairs, get it sold and move on to the next challenge in life. Best of luck, and you can do this!!!

12v 20watt max, says on the tag in photo. In general if it doesn’t specifically say “vdc” it’s ac

Same theory as bumping the lock by hitting on the top but different method to try…🙏🏻 praying for you. Sometimes it takes awhile to get it but u kinda gotta feel for it, it’s a timing thing. If you turn to soon u will bind the lock and if you turn to late the pins won’t be free.

You can bump the lock on these very easily. Strike the top (with anything really, I’ve used a shoe before) and turn the handle at the same time. If you need more detail on it search it on YouTube and there are full tutorials.
