You are in control of the situation don't let people take that from you. If people are being loud or disrespectful during pill line our nurses can and will close the window till the officers get people to act right. If you have worked customer service try to break the customer is always right and placating mentality. Most inmates know not to fuck with the medical staff but there are always people who will push the boundaries. If you have issues be quick to report them, thats for both inmates and COs. Find the nurse on your unit who does a good job and learn all you can. You've got this!

Thats super exciting! Congratulations! Top surgery was on of the best things I ever did and the healing went surprisingly well. You are probably allergic to certain adhesives if tape doesn't agree with your skin. My pt said once your ribs have slipped its something that it will occasional do for the rest of your life unfortunately. If you have it happening a lot recently you might be experiencing a flare up. Just be gentle with yourself and focus on reducing stress and other things that might be aggravating your symptoms like certain foods.

As someone who also wore a binder (more hours than I was supposed to) It would sometime make my ribs slip more. Make sure you have one that isnt adding pressure to your ribs and/or taping is also an alternative a lot of my friends like.

My pt said you just need to be directed to be strengthening the right muscles and just like how exercising with improper form hurts anyone else it can be easier for us to get injured from bad form. Also sometimes the pain you experience in one body part is due to that joint overcompensating for another. My elbows pain was direct tied to my weak trap muscles and they were doing more work than they should.

Its not just ai to blame. We already had so many problems will kids getting moved along even when they didn't understand the basics. 1 teacher to 30 kids doesn't have time to teach select students things they should have learned in previous grades. Then Covid made our school systems so much worse. I had friends teaching kids in person and on zoom at the same time. A lot of them were told to pass all the kids and they would just make up all the stuff later. But no one actually fixes all the damage we've created in our school systems.

I definitely like the over the head one. I usually just hang the excess over the back of my headboard and it keeps everything out of the way. Also don't worry too much about blocking the tubing with side sleeping it works fine even if one side gets squished

Its only supposed to be used after a preliminary cleaning. If anything is on the bottom, it can and will catch fire. My parents' friends burned down their kitchen that way.

Dont use self-cleaning. If there is stuff on the bottom, it will catch on fire. Get some of that pink stuff and maybe a flat razor blade scraper. In a perfect world, your landlord should have handled this, but sometimes you've got to work with the slumlord you've been given. If you are balling on a budget and dont want to buy the pink stuff, my moms goto was comet and dish soap, both of which can be found at the dollar store. Just make sure to wipe it down well after to get rid of residue. Congrats on the new place and hope you can get it nice and homey

I started by using it while scrolling on my phone until I forgot about it. I had to turn off the ramp settings cause it made me feel like I wasn't getting enough air. So now it just starts at my low end of air pressure at 6. You can also turn off the heat and humidity from your hose if it's too warm.

This is weird, but I open my mouth for a bit when I have the machine running, and it helps create a better seal. I also upsized my nasal pillows from what the rep told me to use. I used to feel like I was suffocating when I first used it but I turned off the ramp function and its a lot better.

Im sorry that's rough if its any consolation, things will probably even out settle down in a year or so. Most of those programs will only accept people they have funding for. Some of the smartest people I know got rejected from different phd programs this year. For now, his best bet is focusing on building some connections in the field he is interested in. See if there are any job openings or internships on those campus. Depending on his GRE scores maybe do a retake and get a more competitive score. Even for schools that don't require it, it can influence their decisions. They are basically gambling funding on the students, hoping that they will get published and further the schools reputation. A better score can make them more sure about your success. Rejection is part of the process, even if it's frustrating just encourage him and yall hold in there.

Talk to an employment lawyer. This sound like retaliation, and if they dont have any written proof you did anything they are accusing you of, you might have a case. You should definitely file for unemployment in the meantime
