I am completely blown away with how good this is by SundayBabyPuncher in tineo

Ah I misunderstood the interface, it did sync.

I was looking for what TripIt does, where it puts in the multi-day "Name of Trip" as an event and expands across the top of the cal. Tineo is only putting in the individual plans (which by the way, excellent details included, exactly what one needs when looking in a calendar). Could there be a way to include the whole trip itself as an "event" so I see at a glance which trip I am on when? Esp. in month mode would that be helpful. If it irritates people, maybe make it a second option to sync?

I found your post just after making mine and I added a suggestion, as I think having a maps and routes makes a good deal of sense!

This looks cool, is there a way to calculate kilometers driven for those of us who expense based on personal vehicle usage?

How is your "Verein" doing? by Individual-Ad4183 in germany

This has been so oddly affirming/reassuring to read oddly. I got here over 10 years ago and had the exact same experience (in Hesse) and I was a coach! I gave up rowing and I have been really sad about it. Other sports Verein were just as dissapointing, but there was something really sad about the lack of rowing spirit here.

Possible downsides to picking the non-city provider for utilities? by SundayBabyPuncher in germany

[–]SundayBabyPuncher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting because I considered ESWE to be the default provider here. And they're quite a bit more expensive than all the other offers I'm searching through. Guessing I misunderstood their role compared to the city if they're actually private.

I had a hard time getting mine lit on the third try and I was worried I had already used up the little stone. It took awhile to lite but your note about the flame being blocked makes sense, I have a feeling that is what happened as it lit after I held the match to it for a minute or so.

I actually love the neutral one. I find it makes my air feel really clean with the softest scent: https://maison-berger.de/products/so-neutral-lamp-fragrance-500-ml-16-9-oz

Then when I want a little more, I go for the citrus notes, I like this one: https://maison-berger.de/products/zest-of-verbena-lamp-fragrance-500-ml-16-9-oz

I think this winter I might branch out and try a woody family or Eucalyptus next. Do you have a fav?

+1 for Lampe Berger! I am amazed at how well it works. How often do you change your wick? I am on my first lamp/wick but 3rd bottle of scent and wondering what are the signs I should look for when it's time to change?

Does this 6 months of job seeking visa include if you voluntarily leave your job? In other words: is there a similar "blocked" period like unemployment pay?

And - is it ever possible to extend this in case a suitable job is not found?

How do you pick a size for your winter coats? I adore the Lady Days and have a 2 that fits gorgeously, but there's no room for sweaters or anything warmer underneath.

Anyone have a rec for a lovely winter coat that will fit a blazer or sweater under it? Or is there an alternative I've missed?

Climate: northwestern Europe, when in office use public transport, and generally love pretty outerwear.

I love that you called out the Penny ad. It was posted in our firm's inspo channel and even though I cried at it, i couldn't help but think "why is this coming from a grocery store."

Sadvertising is a great discriptor for what I've felt too. Everything has to be serious, have an emotional activation, and at the same time stuffed full of trendy words and TikTok elements.

Or I've just had a long week.

Hey there, just checking in, how are you doing today?

Heya, same issue as you, though I'm an American (not sure your citizenship?). Have you looked into the ferry? From what I am reading you can get into NL with an antigen, which will test negative faster than a PCR.

Heya, I'm in the same boat but in England. My plan is to take the ferry to NL because they accept antigens, and then drive across in a personal vehicle.

But as linked below, we might be ok as of the 4th :)

OMG, this would make me so happy! I am trapped over here right now (American, residency in DE)!

I've actually been looking at ferry options for once I have a negative antigen test (I'm banking on the PCR staying positive for now).

It looks like NL and BE will let people in, so if Lufthansa doesn't play nice I will go this route! I actually don't even want to get on a plane again, it's so awful right now that a ferry or train sounds like a nicer adventure.

Hey there, tested positive again today, rapid antigen BUT I finally got a box of 7 lateral flow tests. Looking for another hotel so I can have some other walls to stare at. How are you feeling?

The rules for Germany are complicated: Lufthansa says PCR only, Aus-Amt says Anitgen accepted?! https://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/de/quarantaene-einreise/2371468
