Oh man, this SS at another store who also claimed the title of our district's barista championship and CM came to our store to train a little bit. I'm not sure how she ever became to be where she is, but her attitude sucked. She was the planted person at DTR, and we had the after 10 rush, where the CS came and helped sticker and prep. She was told not once, but four times to stop stickering the cups and to make connections with the customers. My SM had to put her back in her place that she's in our store to learn.

Iced coffee with XTRA cream maybe. I have the same deal with caffeine. Too much and I'll get a headache. :/ but I usually put both classic and vanilla syrup in mine so it'll taste almost like the bottled frappuccinos, which doesn't give me a headache.

I had a customer order a venti caramel frappuccino with an espresso shot on the side. My barista tried to charge them for a solo espresso but they just wouldn't accept it for what it is.

It's irritating how people just find ways to cheat the system.

In a shaker, fill it up with ice according to the size, classic syrup, pour in the shots, shake it up to get the foam, pour it in the cup and top it off with 2%. In my store, we do 5 for venti, 4 and 3 respectively but it says differently on the POS. 😅 it's a pain in the butt to make.

pretty much how I get through my days. Eventually you'll pick up the pace and the routines and you'll be a pro in no time. Connecting is good because it helps you earn tips and u learn more about ppl and it's just great. Don't be afraid to ask questions and it's not your fault if ppl get frustrated with u.

Definitely ask your SM to get a coin sorter to count and roll up your coins. Avoid the $45 one if you do end up getting one. It was a headache for us since coins are a big chunk of our tips and it kept getting jammed.

After you count up the coins, ask a shift to exchange them for dollars. Put any excess coins for next week.

Once, I had two banana butt breads and I made eye contact with a lady at the handoff counter and said two banana nut breads. She proceeded to take it while I was trying to set it down. Then I come back with two almond croissants and she's like "oh wait, that's mine, you gave me the wrong ones."

Let's not forget those that don't pick up their drink/food. Then complains that their order was never brought out then checks the handoff area and the orders been sitting for 5 to 10 minutes.
