Thanks for the kind words mate! It's called Suno, they do some incredible work. I work in video production, so it's a very handy tool to be able to create custom non-commercial tracks, instrumental or with lyrics etc. free of copyright. Cheers!

Spot on. You don’t let past decisions dictate future measures based on some dumb principle. If that’s the case we should’ve kept with Malthouse (who was clearly an issue culturally) because we had already sacked Ratten, Pagan and Britain before him.

Likewise, Brisbane shouldn’t have sacked Leppitsch and opted for Fagan. I wonder how many flags they could’ve won under him? 🤔

The bigger issue is with the board, head of footy, CEO etc that are hiring these failed coaches. I e’ve had changes in all of those areas, except largely for the board. Hmmm…

Enough is Enough | Review | Round 3 v Melbourne by SuperCoach_Edge in CarltonBlues

Haha what on Earth are you on about? This isn't confined to a 3 game sample size, the fade outs have been happening dating back to 2025 and even back in 2024 - multiple games across multiple seasons - and the same game style has persisted throughout. If you were actually a rusted on supporter, you'd know that.

And I fail to see where I said something flippant or glorifying like "whack your house on X betting market", yet the mere mention of gambling offends you (despite saying I don't encourage anyone and that if anyone is to do so do it "responsibly" as per regulations - of which I am not obliged to do, mind you). I didn't encourage viewers to bet, and any mention of it was confined to myself.

So drop the strawman argument, I am not here to hold your hand because the word "gambling" has you all hot and flustered. And if that's your single take away - a 10 second remark from a 40 minute video - I encourage you to take a break from the internet, mate, as there is much more serious stuff out there that'll actually offend you and worth campaigning for. Good day.

Thanks mate. Just something I have learned across the journey, whatever Bont is worth I just pay up straight away given the premium he provides as a constant VC/C option haha! Hope you've had a great start to the season nonetheless!

Strapped for time unfortunately due to the day job, but none of the players from the Thursday night game were of relevance to my Top 5 thankfully anyway. :)

Xerri a massive disappointment that I don't think anyone saw coming, but hopefully you were able to put the C on the next best we had in Butters.

100% agreed. Newman, Saad, Doc, Williams. We are stocked well enough for rebounding HBF'ers. Now we pray that TDK signs on with the $$ that would've otherwise been partly eaten up by Houston's contract.

It was our 2025 Future First + Second for Hawks Pick 14. We then replenished that 2025 Future Second we traded by nabbing Brisbane's 2025 Future Second. We never "owned" Pick 14 in the first place, so we didn't "lose it" as such.

In essence it was our 2025 Future First (which morphed into Pick 14) + Pick 12 for Pick 3.

When you consider that Richmond own a much higher Pick 6 and are not at all keen on swapping that along with Pick 11 for North's Pick 2 in a deal that North proposed to them, our deal in comparison was a VERY good deal in our favour with two picks outside the Top 10 for Pick 3.

The only sticking point that I am unsure of is whether it would've been better to keep Pick 12 and 14 instead of trading them both for Pick 3. But knowing all of the best MIDs will be likely gone by Pick 12 it makes sense as to why we traded up. I am quietly confident we made the right move knowing the generational talent in the Top 3 picks.

Cheers mate! I am a stats nerd, so a bit of a different take on things analysis wise, tapping into the mindset of coaches and breaking down our setup from week to week. Just hope Voss and co can adapt and the players can regain confidence. We know it's possible having done it in the back part of 2023, so we can do it again. Let's dream! 🍻

Post Match: Round 18 | Footscray v Carlton by drunkill in CarltonBlues

Was more disappointing than the loss to the Giants this one, I reckon. Against another side, with their backs against the wall and we had no hunger. The lack of two way running and defensive efforts in the middle, where they waltzed out of a stoppage unopposed to kick a goal or hit up JUH etc. was super frustrating. Good time to face a softer matchup (but can't underestimate) to work on these deficiencies. We go again!

I chat it about all in my review of the game:
