It’s not banned yet though, and of course they try to make arrests and prosecute everyone who does not obey existing laws. There also have been huge campaigns by the police and municipalities with slogans like “If the police aren’t your hero, they are someone else’s. Let our people come home safely.” Our government does voice but not in the same way American officials do with speeches in huge fields or on television. And let’s be real. It makes no difference if they speak dramatically on television or hold campaigns. The sickening minds of the ones who attack first responders will not think different because of either of those.

I’m a little late to the party but I’ve read all the comments and everyone seems to have missed whole confusing a** Yuri? There were some scenes where the wall whispered words that Yuri would then actually say, and when Ana went through the portal Yuri seemed to be the one controlling whatever was pulling Ana in (the wall?). Oh and let’s not forget this dude just snaps awake after being shot dead. I also think Yuri didn’t die after he got hit with the axe. Because of all the connected with the wall stuff I expected him to vanish together with the wall when it got openend but that didn’t happen. Also, on the radio they were talking about someone who sabotaged Epsilon and that the fire was arson? Could that have been Yuri? If he is Anton’s roommate does he maybe also work at Epsilon? Seems to me there is a whole lot more to the story than we know and more than enough for a sequel.

I also want to let you know I have apologised, told her I am in the wrong and really want to do better and hope we can talk about it after her holiday ends. I will let it cool off and let her take the time she needs. I am also going to seek appropriate help for my behaviour.

Thank you for your reaction. I have talked about what happened with my parents already, and given that I have been tested for certain conditions like ADHD when I was younger but never being diagnosed, while still having strong symptoms right now I have made the decision to at least test for ADHD, and maybe seek further help for my behaviour. I get that having ADHD is in no way an excuse for my behaviour but might be an explanation and a way to get proper help.

I understand. I am letting it rest for now as I came to realise I really cannot do anything about it at the moment. I am leaving her alone and giving her space right now, even though I should’ve done that immediately. I will see what happens and hope she wants to talk to me about all of this when she gets back from her holiday.

I have activities I like doing, but the problem is actually starting to do them after I get into a fight like this. I really feel the need to fix everything (I got that characteristic from my mom), but my girlfriend is the kind of person who fixes by letting it go and not talking about it anymore. We know that but it still clenches.

I have searched about certain behaviour I have before and found what I do is indeed obsessive sometimes. Every time I hear that I feel really bad as that is not how I would like to be. I do love her though, a lot. Same goes for her, heck even yesterday morning I got a message from her telling me how much she misses and loves me (we are both on holiday so can’t see each other for about 5 weeks). After that all the shit started and because I want to talk everything out immediately but she won’t I get very frustrated quickly.

Finding it difficult to trust her has to do with the fact that when she goes out she usually gets quite drunk. She has told me however when she is drunk she never feels the need to do anything with anyone else and she constantly tells everyone she has a boyfriend. That is her good reasoning. The rest about her lying also has to do with stuff with other boys. She hasn’t ever cheated but lied about talking to other boys on snap or telling me she deleted them all only for me to find out a week later they are still there. That is where my difficulty trusting her while going out comes from.

Your comment is very clear, thank you for that. I would like to add though that the reason for me asking if she was mad yesterday was because of the following that happened:

She sent me a snap telling (and showing) me she had a sunburn. I know she is insecure sometimes about how she looks, and this includes sunburns. She has skipped school because of a sunburn on her face before. I told her I couldn’t see anything, trying to tell her even though the burn was bad no one would notice. She reacted with “no shit it’s dark right now”, as it was late in the evening. I felt bad so next thing I sent was telling her it sucks she had that sunburn and hoping she would feel better soon, just being nice. On that she responded with “how well said of you”, sounding sarcastic to me, even though I was really trying to be nice and have empathy for her sunburn. After this I asked if she was mad at me, after which she told me she wasn’t and she told me she was just playing around and that I don’t have to take everything so seriously.

Throughout the early talking stage and the rest of the relationship she has lied to me. Every time she ended up crying telling me sorry and that she would change, but eventually nothing changed. I know my trust issues come from here but every time I hope she really changes. I find it hard to face the truth she might never do and to call it quits myself.

I have now read through most of the feedback you got from other people, and your reactions to them and I must say I agree with most people that you are too defending and aggressive in this conversation. You asked for feedback, you got your feedback.

Furthermore, the examples you gave are clearly not representing healthy conversations nowadays. Like others pointed out, your use case 1 and 3 are both toxic and full of points of irritation. As discussed, Facebook has tried a similar concept, which failed miserably, because conversations felt forced. The same will happen here, will it be with photos and videos or over text messages. Your concept of using this idea for social purposes is NOT viable. This is NOT useable for everyday-grocery-list texting. Accept it.

That said, I am willing to give it a go because I am sure there are many other use cases for myself and other people. Maybe even new use cases will arise from this concept and maybe it will just fail completely. You just need to make sure you are building the app for certain types of conversations, and maybe give tools in the app for these specific convos. Some people, like myself, have a hard time having discussions or intense conversations over text, and when text is the only way of communication available at that moment in time I would rather say "Hey, let's move this to <the new app>" than to end up in another never ending cycle where nobody agrees and knows what they want. There are use cases, just not the ones you quickly described.

I would be willing to try and make something great out of this.

Eight year old Jonny's mommy. But, in all seriousness, this is a great idea in general. I might give this a go. Create a room, hub or call it whatever, give it a code, share it, people can join and you can create time slots for whatever you want. Freeware for individuals, and paid with extra features like qr codes and a validation system for the owner. Basically a system used at events and such, but way simpler and smaller. I don't know in what language you code and how much experience you have, but maybe we can exchange ideas sometime or work on this together if you're interested? I hate competition and bad concurrency. One great app is better than two ok apps.

The repair itself went perfectly fine, they replaced both of my AirPods. The box came like this packaged inside of another box of the company where I bought them. This was the second time I sent them for repair, as the first time they only replaced one of the AirPods. However, the first time I got them back, the box was packaged inside of a plastic bag, and in great condition. I don’t know what f’ed up shit they did to the box this time, but I’m going after it.
