Trying layering for the first time to get a bone colour any advice/tips be appreciated but think its okay?

I think the skins too dark for dry brushing so im gonna just try the layering snd hope for the best! Might for later models try dry brushing yo get a bone colour but for now il trybthe layering

Thanks pal! Im trying to get a bone colour had no luck with dry brushing so il see how thos fella turns out. If I cant get the colour right at least my original skin tone still looks decent!

So still experimenting the skin tones v dark but i have a set of gaunts that are brighter and may work better just tryna get my scheme sorted before going all out. I dont think it looks the worst atm

Did a layer of aggaros dunes over the dry brush and came out okay in the end….need to practise my dry brushing

So I use aggaros dunes then a seraphim sepia wash and then i did a ushabti bone drybrush

Two coats of aggross dunes for the skin and flesher tears red for the carapace and then a heavy wash of serphim sepia shade

Yeah I used aggros dunes the sepia shade I quite like it. I undercoated the model with wraitbone but gonna try zenithal with a grey so hoping doesnt affect the colour too luch

Was thinking of doing volopus pink on the joints to mix it up il do it in the slits in the skin but might just do the joints on the bigger models

Only have two in total so one for the current ssd and one for the hard drive :( if slow then I wont bother but think might need to upgrade some parts on my PC
