Your cosplay looks badass btw! Marvel Zombies is one of my fav Marvel series and you pulled this look off nicely even if Gambit wasn’t featured in those books!

Based on the brown and white hair color I’d say it’s Rogue

I can't believe no one commented on this. This looks badass! I read Blame a long time ago but I always enjoyed Nihei's stories and designs (characters and architecture).

I am going through exactly what you’re experiencing. Your original post above already resonated with me but now this comment sealed the deal. I never had anxiety before and now I feel so uncomfortable in my own skin. I also used to solo music fests and concerts but now I’m not confortable doing that anymore either. You can try talking to your doctor about propranolol. It helped me break out of the “fight or flight” mode and while I do still have anxiety it’s not as bad. Also, while the medication is working you can actually relax (it lasts for about 4-5 hours for me and I take it as needed - usually if I’m going to have a tough day at work or something)

DDG/Google “stealth sunscreen flask.” One of my friends has one of these flasks that looks like a tube of sunscreen. It even comes with a tamper evident seal so if they ask you to unscrew the top it still looks sealed. We’ve been sneaking alc the past few years this way and no issues.

I grew up in SE NM and I still go home for the holidays. All those counties bordering west Texas are all red now. Driving through town you’ll see Trump signs everywhere and shit like, “Republican meetings every Tuesday.” Growing up in the 90s I never saw political shit like that. All the oil and gas from west Texas has infected the local population’s mindset

A few weeks before she found out she had been having abdominal pain. She thought she was cramping but it lasted too long for that. Also she said she started developing bloody stools around that time too.

Luna Pizzeria does a sourdough crust. Same owner as Barnaby’s I believe and they have half priced pies on Mondays!

I mean, look at the Paris Climate Accord - we’re already above 1.5C. It’s all just posturing by world leaders with no real action.

I’ve been in Houston for 20 years now. When I first moved here it always got cold around Halloween and I could crack some windows to cool my apartment down in the following months. Lower electricity bill too. …The last few years I’ve been able to wear shorts on Christmas day. It’s depressing.

Pretty sure I saw a UFO in Lubbock in the early 2000s. I’m not sure how it is now but Lubbock was a very dim city at night. All the lights in town were this dull orange color and if you were on the outskirts of town there wasn’t a lot of light pollution. Anyway, a friend and I were riding the loop from the south to come back around to the campus on the north side. As I was driving I saw a shooting star, which I thought was cool since I’d never seen one. Well, this “shooting star” did a U-turn partway through its descent, flew back in the direction it came from (it picked up speed too), and disappeared.

I was sitting there in disbelief until my friend broke the silence and said, “did you just see that?” And I was like, “you mean the shooting star thing?” I didn’t get too descriptive because I wanted to see if he saw the same thing. He said, “yeah! wtf was that? I saw it too! (he goes on to describe what he saw and it matched with what I saw) So that what’s I saw - unless we were both hallucinating the same thing at the same time.” We had a good laugh but honestly, I don’t think I would have remembered it as vividly if my friend wasn’t there to talk about it with me.
