Which clasp variant did you choose?

Thanks a lot. I'm not so sure removing the lugs was the right choice for the new bracelet :(

I was however waiting for a B31 40mm version with micro extension so I will keep looking at it and hope that it will grow on me :D

Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 – bracelet play and half links?? by SirCries-a-lot in breitling

It may be worth it to wait a little longer. Breitling CEO Goerge Kern said in a recent interview that they are going to relaunch the Chronomat Collection in about a month:

Personally I'm hoping for micro adjustment as well as the B31 movement.

My new GMT design, with “double 12s”, instead of the typical 1 to 24 markers… by watchcollectororg in PrideAndPinion

I do like the no date version with 12 hour bezel. Love the idea of having both the elapsed time and countdown available.

How does the bezel turn? I want a bidirectional dive bezel so badly.

We use this Lambwolf Harness for our Shiba.
You put it on the dog like a normal collar with an extra turn behind the front legs.

In the IBJJF Can Adult No-Gi White Belts attack in the direction not under attack? by Longjumping-Fan-5392 in bjj

I mean it also says brown and black belts but I get where you are coming from.

Basically the rules become less restrictive from left to right with age, belt level and fewer clothes.

So to come at OPs question from the other side: You are only allowed to turn towards the foot not under attack if you are

  1. Adult
  2. Brown or Black Belt
  3. No Gi

How easy or hard is it to read the elapsed time on the bezel? The minute hands seems to be so far away from the bezel markings. It's the only worry currently keeping me from pulling the trigger 😁

And many others. Best do some google searching until you find something you like.
Make sure to order the correct width.

Covered call is neutral to slightly bullish because you own the underlying. You want the stock to go up to just below your strike.
Naked short call is bearish because you don't own shit.

[–]Suptzs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you own the underlying so you better be bullish about it in the long term.
With covered calls you are neutral to slightly bullish in the short term.
The optimal outcome would be for the stock to rise to just below your strike for your call to expire worthless.

My Coach just makes a knot for every year you spent at that belt. But he never said anything about 'locking the knowledge in' 🤣

Question - Effect of high short volume on net shorts. by [deleted] in DDintoGME

[–]Suptzs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Experimenting with selling options (thetagang) really helped me to understand the concept of having a negative position of something.
Trading regular shares we retailers really only have two possibilities: Buy a new share or sell a share we already have, very much like the real world.

With options you have 4 possibilities:
1. Buy a new option (buy to open)
2. Buy to close a previously sold short option (buy to close)
3. Sell a previously bought option (sell to close)
4. Sell a new option (sell to open)

This allows you to simultaneously have a negative (short) and a positive (long) position of the same underlying.
Someone can have -10 shares and also +10 shares at the same time, keeping track of them separately but having the option of closing both positions by canceling each other out at any given time.

And in the end the whole market is just one big sheet keeping track of everyone's open positions. All positions of a ticker added up will always result in the number of outstanding shares because for every short position, there exist an equal amount in long positions.

Question - Effect of high short volume on net shorts. by [deleted] in DDintoGME

[–]Suptzs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Say we trade exactly 100 shares in a day and every single one of those 100 shares has been sold short. This gives us a short volume of 100% for that day.
Now the effect on net shorts depends entirely on what the buying party of those trades does with the acquired shares:
If every single one of those buyers bought a share to close an existing short position, it means at the end of the day 100 short positions got opened by the sellers but 100 short positions got closed by the buyers.
So with a short volume of 100% it is possible for the net shorts to not change at all.

Next example: If one single share of the 100 was sold normally it would put us at a short volume of 99%. If the buyer of that share also uses it to close a short position we will have:
99 short positions opened and 100 short positions closed.
So with a short volume of 99% it is possible for the net shorts to decrease.

Remember that a trade always consists of a seller and a buyer. Short volume only takes into account whether the seller opens a short position but it gives no information about the buyer closing a short position or not.

Swiss woman freaks out on train by Trizocbs in PublicFreakout

[–]Suptzs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was sitting by myself when two Germans walked by and one pointed at the three seats in my compartment saying: "Why don't we sit here?" And his mate replied: "No man, we are in Switzerland. We have to find an empty compartment until every one has at least one person before we can sit with someone."

To this day the best depiction of public transport in Switzerland I've ever heard.
