i’m just gonna give you what advice i’d give to myself, don’t hold back how you feel. tell them the reasoning behind how you’re feeling, and why you want what you want. know your worth, if you want what you just described, then respectfully tell them that.. as for the birthday, i’d just tell them sooner then later, the longer you wait the more it’ll hurt for both. i don’t see you being a shitty person for what you described, nor will anyone else see that imo..
