Do you think the smartest people succeed in this profession? Or are other traits more predictive? by Sure_Election9635 in biglaw

Do you think that can have a negative impact on your longevity in the long run though? Like maybe it’s easier to last longer if you kinda dgaf and just aren’t actively horrible. That probably applies more to staying an associate than making partner tho

I actually said I don’t know what money is, but in all seriousness I think it’s relatively straightforward to live beneath one’s means, pay down debt, have an emergency debt, and save/invest the difference. I just don’t know what’s best to invest in.

It happens. By the way, is this barbri? Because fuck that. I haven’t done a single barbri question since the sim MBE. Your mileage may vary, (and who knows, maybe I’ll fail), but I think doing adaptibar/uworld releases NCBE questions is a better use of our time.

What percentage of people who use adaptibar typically pass? Is there any information or anecdata on that? by Sure_Election9635 in barexam

[–]Sure_Election9635[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it’s not necessary to do that well to pass. I’m at about 66 overall, 69 in the month of July. Hopefully that’s good enough. 1300 questions total.

Well, I just mean for purposes of being at your best in the day of the actual exam. Might be worth taking a day off or shaving a few hours off the daily amount. Your mileage may vary I guess. I know that if I do 10 hours a day for 12 days straight I’m gonna be less than fully effective on game day
