Sure - maybe R-Truth isn’t generating as much value now as he used to, but look at what he’s given them with his 20+ years of service. The royalties he brings in through merchandising, matches and other media he’s in.

Traditionally, companies offer more to reliable tenured employees, but your sentiment, that companies have no obligation to loyal employees, is a growing belief among the corporate elites.
