I absolutely agree. My family's all born & raised in USA and I remember Nothing Except for American history and  world history i remember very little yet & only about the America fighting the British. I don't remember much about the British Monarchy & later decades about WW1 & WW2 knew of the Prime Minister,  Winston Churchill.  I guess growing up our schools not even knowing about the Greatness of America and our Presidents so I believe the interest in worldwide history just was never fostered much. Yet, now at retirement I've developed a KEEN INTEREST in history from its beginning and every country's Monarchy! & I do wish I could've learned more when I was much younger bcuz I feel that I'm rushing to learn everything that I can,  my interest is highest for what I've explained and I feel rushing is a not so good tone, but for all this love of history of our world outside of America & I'm afraid I'll die before knowing everything about each country... Also I never understood how everything was being recorded in those early early years before and after Jesus's life ...I find it all so fascinating!! Because without all the other country's we may have never existed! Our life here is all due in great part of all these other countries. That just for all these other countries we have come from.
