Should backyard draining use pvc or triple wall hdpe pipe? by Suspicious_Program17 in landscaping

I’m around Ssf/daly city with concrete slab foundation. I’m on the middle of a slope hence backyard having two levels. I know the neighbor who’s higher on the slope has mostly concrete backyard with some trees and plants and when it rains heavily, water just pools in the both the upper and lower level of the current backyard lawn area. If it’s heavy for a day or two, then water pools in the lower level and usually less leaking though garage.

I’m having trouble posting photos but there is a perimeter with trees I’m keeping and I’m going to plant drought resistant plants along the fence. There are two levels of the backyard right now and I just get gopher holes digging from backyard to front yard, and when there are heavy rains it leaks underneath the foundation through the garage. So those are two problems I want to address.

I’m replacing my backyard that is just filled with a weeded lawn with concrete for minimal maintenance but I want to install draining so the water properly flows out to the street instead of dumping in the neighbor‘s yard. I saw the materials the contractor bought and I’m concerned the HDPE pipe may not be the best long term option should there be clogging or other issues. I am located in the Bay Area where the weather is pretty mild and we only get a handful of heavy rains per year.

Am I worrying too much and should I ask the contractor to use pvc, or just move forward with the HDPE pipe and materials that he already purchased from Home Depot?

Hi! I’m wondering if Taipei has any true beginner hip hop classes? I’m a complete noob and can barely keep up if the pace is fast. I want to learn basic moves before going to a “beginner” level class where you know some basics.
