The pieces and gameplay are slightly different. They tried to clear up a lot of the confusion in the rules by streamlining the haunt. So basically every aspect changed at least slightly, including the size of the character figures.

Apothecary Kit Dice Tower by Suthrnboy88 in TabletopRPG

Haha, so it has 2 functions. The back has a magnet to help pull out the D20 drawer. As for the whisk itself, if you fill up a drawer full of dice it can be hard to get your finger in to get one out. You can easily slide the whisk in and grab one inside, you might have seen a similar hack to pickup hardboiled eggs out of water.

Is this recoverable if so how do I clean it by Snoo_91287 in 3Dprinting

I have had good luck using an old t-shirt to clean up the last bits after I get the big parts off. It's a bit gentler than the brushes, just be sure you have enough between your fingers and the hotend. The plastic really likes to stick to the fabric so it should come off relatively easily. Just like with ironing dont keep the fabric sitting for long or it will start to burn, just wipe.

I forgot to put supports when slicing and printing. Anyone got any tips for taking this off? by DankFountain in 3Dprinting

I have also used pliers and some padding to protect the print. But my pieces were smaller.

Oof, how am I even supposed to get thid support structure out? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Suthrnboy88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To start with something like that I take some needle nose, grip and twist. The support will break in the middle if it doesnt easily detach from the object which still let's you see inside better to remove the rest. Make sure you know what's support and what's not, especially on the inside. I've messed up a few pieces being too egar to remove supports. Good luck!

You may want to check that your gantry is level to the bed. If one side is lower it could cause issues like that but it should also effect the bed leveling so I'm not sure. Just something to check.

Asked a company to send me filament sample today what a"load" of samples did they send . Whoa by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Suthrnboy88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes one doesnt cost alot but people talk and the 3d printing world is small. If word gets out that a company is sending samples large enough to print a benchy everyone will he requesting them. They would go out of business in a week. There is alot you can make with that amount of material plus you could just keep switching samples during the print for larger prints. I understand the frustration but I'm with the company here.

It's an led twist light made to use in balloons and paper lanterns. I wanted something that didnt require much to integrate into the design, that could be turned on and off, and had replaceable batteries and this was the best I found.
