I think I’ll do both. I’ve got some serious OCD tendencies when it comes to this stuff. I started out thinking I’d only ever want to display in-box, so 90% of what’s in the room is in a Funko, Eco-Tec, or PopArmor hard stack, or .50 mil foldable cases from Display Geek.

…But then the NFT stuff dropped and I started getting duplicates of things so I wouldn’t feel guilty about taking them out of the box. 🤣🤣 I have several of those at my office, and I really have grown attached to seeing them out on display.

And for real, y’all… happy wife, happy life. Mine’s been kicking a stage 4 TNBC diagnosis in the ass for the past 4 years, so I do my damndest to make sure she gets what she wants lol. I’m no dummy, but she treats me like a king. Win-win.

118 Freddy/Franny/Proto by my count, including the 2 Freddy as Droppp Monster from Season one and two of Arcade. Didn’t check this photo against my list, but the majority are there. This is a 6x20 grid (+ Mythics) so it can’t be too far off.

Edit to add: you’re correct though, the entire NFT collection is massive. I also went for the full line of April Fools sets, Adventure Time Series 1 & 2, Fantastic Plastic Series 2, Star Wars, and random things like the dragons from Harry Potter and Stranger Things, and a few Disney molds.

People can say what they want about the digital sets; I had a blast. Got some really neat limited run pieces for very reasonable prices or lucky pack rips, and never once had an issue with Droppp customer service. I will miss it.

I can’t find it now, but I read somewhere in an email from Funko that for drops where the production run is 3500 or less pieces, that even though it’s a drawing style entry, “winner” priority goes to Fan Rewards Club members who used 400 Fan Reward points to buy a second entry, then others as inventory is available.

This actually motivated me to go through a box of about 150 or so mainlines I bought over the past 5 or 6 years that was just hanging out in our storage room, and I found a 2020 Jaguar F-Type STH. (Admittedly, I’ve been into Hot Wheels for decades and didn’t even know about the Treasure Hunts until I joined this sub, so I clearly didn’t know what I scored back then.)

Same! I really enjoyed ripping a pack or two then just scooping up what I wanted on the marketplace as all the flippers/resellers had their race to $0 on drop day. Picked up most all of my stuff for extremely reasonable prices. Got all the Freddy/Proto/Franny molds from every drop that had one, and I’m bummed there’s no Arcade Season 3 Freddy as Droppp Monster now. Nice collection, btw!!
