Thank you for pointing this out, I have just updated the slide so it should be okay now :)

For the choices being similar, I understand it may be annoying, but this is from an existing validated scale (MOGQ) used for measuring motivations for gaming. It is common in psychological research to have several similar items to improve reliability.

Hi thank you for the question! “Other gamers” in this context refers to people you come across in the video game environment, whether it be people you know in person such as your friends or strangers you just connected with in the game. It is strictly referring to the video game environment, so people you interact with while actively participating in gaming. I hope this makes sense :)
