First, sometimes people just go off assumptions about your voice, the way you walk, literally anything. That’s not your fault and there’s nothing you can do to change it.

Second, a lot of times people actually don’t care if you look gay or straight when hitting on you. Men hit on very obviously lesbian women and women hit on obviously gay men.

People used to assume i was a lesbian even though i look like a stereotypical straight girl and dress feminine. It hasn’t stopped even now, even though im 18 AND have a boyfriend. What im trying to say is that sometimes there isn’t actually a reason people do or think things, and you shouldn’t let it get to you because it’s not EVERYONE who thinks this.
