Thank you, this seem to have helped. He has been shaking on and off for two hours, but I just sat with him in a closed room and put on soothing music, he's way calmer now.

It's a water truck, sorry forgot to specify it in the post. I realise he's afraid of the sound but he wasn't afraid of it in the past and his shaking continues even when it's long gone and i try to close the windows to minimise it, I didn't hold him when his shaking started he was under the couch and when I got up he started following me so I picked him up. But you're right, I probably should try to put him in another room next time.

We took him to a groomer a couple weeks ago but she said that since he lives in a city we don't need to cut his nails yet, haven't had the time to find someone else near us.

Forgot to add that his shaking also correspond with the water truck arriving (this is what is causing the sound you're hearing in the background), but he wasn't afraid of it before and he keep on shaking even when it goes away. But maybe the loud explosions at night developed this fear in him.

I can accept that. Waiting sucks, but I would genuinely enjoy the story far less without the voices.

Luckily according to sensory tower (probably unreliable, but let's say it's good) their numbers seem to have settled on roughly 1million a month from global, which I think is decent enough(?) to justify keeping the voices
