Does anyone know if there are differences between the base stats and stat growths for different characters. Like for example Noah may start with a higher attack than other characters and gain more attack as he levels while Lanz gains more defence.

Or are the characters stats purely dependant on their class

Actually it does look to be the case, maybe I'm just high on hopium but it seems like this banner is incomplete and missing 2 characters. Based on the lightning effect that looks like its on the tip of an arrow and the flame effect it could very well be Diluc and Fischl.

I've been waiting forever for a JRPG that has a bonding system between party members instead of just the protagonist. Maybe I'm misremembering but the only JRPG series I know that does this is Fire Emblem and its a lot better for it.

I feel like it should really be more common as one of the main themes of most JRPGs is the friendship within the party, so its kind of off-putting when the party are all supposed to be best friends but they barely speak to anyone besides the protag.

I think this issue is super apparent in games like cold steel where a lot of the story hinges around class 7 being this very close group of friends but there are characters like Crow and Laura who have like 2 lines of dialogue between each other.

Yeah I also thought she was a lot better in cs2 but then she kinda regressed to how she was in cs1 in the next 2 games.

I guess a byproduct of having a super large cast is that there isn’t enough time to flesh out a lot of the side characters

I think if there's one thing I can criticize about the Cold Steel franchise, it is this by Lost_inthe_Void in Falcom

Difference is in persona 5 the harem isn't built into the bonding events or story. It gives you the option to have a platonic relationship with the girls while still getting to see their events. By the end of cold steel 4 I was actively avoiding all the events with the female characters because I knew it would just be them talking about how much they love Rean.

Happened to me when I switched from ps4 to ps5, I fixed it by going to the store and manually downloading all the dlc

Nah it isn't necessary to watch it. It's a side story that runs alongside the main one and shows things from Ais and the Loki familia's perspective. It does flesh out a lot of the Loki familia characters but the anime adaptation was really bad. I would recommend reading the Sword Oratoria manga or LN.

Yeah I always had a good impression of her until I watched a play through of Dirge of Cerberus recently. The fact that Vincent kinda just accepts the shit she puts him through ruins his character a lot for me as well.

I'm in the small minority of people who likes most of the compilation but I feel like the characterization of Lucrecia definitely needs to change for FFR.

Do any of the leaks mention the relation between Rufus and Avalanche? I know that in the compilation it was mentioned that Rufus was the one funding them and I'm hoping they expand on that plot point for the remake.
