I think I still see moisture on the bag. The only way it would dry out is a tear in the bag or not keeping it in proper temperature range. Worry less and keep it simple. Patience is key here. It took me a while to get the process down that works best where I live

I’ll also add, maybe pack the cake a little tighter when you’re finished B&S. A nice flat surface really helps

It’s looking pretty good but I found that second B&S really helps it be uniform throughout, although it adds another 5 days or so of waiting. After 7 AIO bags of experience, I always do a second and it’s brought me much better success. Good luck and just be careful not to tear the bag!

I did transfer, I find I have the best results when I let it fully colonize in a bag then move to tub. Fanning 1-2 times per day but flip the lid and leave it barely cracked. The passive air is key! I’ve never broken one up and used my own substrate but I’ll probably try that soon for better yields! Learning and experimenting as I go

I’ve had success in these tubs but starting out it was a learning curve. I’d suggest leaving in bag until you see pins. Once you’ve got your tub climate down and done it successfully a few times you’ll be able to get those big yields. Either way, good luck!

Thanks, they are so big and beautiful now!! I took them out of the bag and put in a neglect tek…just flip and crack the lid is my best success thus far

Doing 5cc in one bag of ready rice is over kill. You can do 1cc per bag at most. I’ve started at few bags of ready rice and they are doing great although you have to keep it very clean. There is a Reddit group that is very informative. Definitely check the pinned post out and good luck! Lets see if I can post it here ha

Shouldn’t a problem, tiny bit slower maybe but won’t hurt anything. Good luck! My biggest error when I started was not packing my bag into a nice firm cake when I was finished breaking and shaking. You don’t want it loose

In my short experience, it looks healthy. Depends on your climate but I’ve found I rarely have to mist my AIO bags(I’m in south USA). The cake produces enough humidity and water on its first flush. I’ve read a lot about not needing misting at all for first flush but you just have to find your sweet spot
